About Us..........
 Captain Michael OConnor, CPYB
Mike's love affair with boating began
as a young boy in 1964 when he sailed dinghies and small keelboats in the
waters off Cape Cod and the surrounding islands. Since those days he has logged
over 80,000 nautical miles from the Philippines to Nova Scotia.
As a Certified Professional Yacht
Broker, Mike sold over 100 yachts just in the 3 year period 2005 - 2008.
Having helped so many gain yacht ownership, Mike realized the market needed a
new dynamic, a new way to gain yacht ownership.
Every time he sailed out of Dana Point
Harbor, he saw people along the shore railings, looking longingly at the yachts
sailing out to sea, wishing they could have their own adventures, too.
YachtsToShare is his answer to that community, that ocean of would-be yacht
owners separated only by the fear of risk, lack of cash, or inexperience that
co-ownership overcomes.

FAQs
Is this some kind of time-share?
- Not at all, and here is how we're different. A
time-share resort sells shares to the resort, much like selling stock in a
corporation, but with the added benefit of being able to use a room in the
resort within restricted times, like once a year.
- With a time-share as with a corporation, you don't
care who the other shareholders are. The maid cleans up after the previous
resort guest and after your stay. With co-ownership, as with YachtsToShare,
knowing the other co-owners is the key to success. The way the other co-owner
leaves the yacht for you and the way you leave it for them is the basis of
co-ownership.
- That is why the tools provided by YachtsToShare are
so important to find the right co-owner. Co-ownership is more like a marriage
than a time-share, and YachtsToShare is your dating service.
